Project Summary
Verizon is a huge organization with over 250,000+ employees across multiple time zones and locations. There were literally hundreds of intranet sites all with their own unique design and applications.
Goals
The eWeb Intranet project was intended to provide a standard intranet experience for all employees in all locations.
Challenges
With hundreds of different intranet sites and thousands of pages of content, the Information Architecture challenge was significant. Luckily, I had just hired a world class IA, Gail Leija, would was instrumental in organizing the data in a coherent fashion.
Results The eWeb intranet site was finished on–time and slightly under budget. |
