In January 2002, Verizon was sponsoring an internal trade show in which various divisions of the company gathered to share new products and applications. My team was charged with developing a custom cut CD and corresponding print material.
Goals
To design, developed, and produce a custom CD containing new motion graphics, localized Flash tour movies, and newsletters in PDF format
Challenges
Time was the greatest challenge to this project. We were given a day and a half - 36 hours - to concept, design, and build all of the content for the CD. We had a hard deadline that could not be missed in order to have thousands of the CD produced.
Results
We worked non stop for 36 hours. The team surprised everyone by completing the project and maintaining a high level of quality. The CD was a hit at the trade show. The majority of them were gone the first day. The CD was instrumental in increasing future project activity.
